Training And Match Days

Want to join us?

At St Peters Celtic Football Club we believe that football should be available to anyone and everyone regardless of their ability, race, gender, religion, colour or financial situation.

We are not a 'Win at all costs!' club, Yes we like to win matches but we would rather develop players and teams to play in a fair and sportsman like manner and to play good quality football. We have found this to be a very effective strategy in the long term and gives us the oppertunity to be very proud of our players and teams regardless of the result when the final whistle is blown.

We have an open door policy that means everyone is welcome to come and join in with the training sessions and best of all is that all the training sessions that are carried out at our home ground are completely FREE!! You dont even have to pay to be a member of our club just to join in with the training sessions!

Why pay expensive membership fees and weekly training costs when you dont have to? We have F.A. qualified coaches and a wealth of football coaching and playing experience at our disposal to ensure that your child is safe hands and given the best available training sessions in a fun atmosphere. They will also benefit from making new friends and learning to play as a team. We dont do gimmicks and celebrity coaches (which you would be paying for in the costs!) we just prefer to concentrate on your child and good quality football coaching!

There are no hidden costs, all we ask is that your child wears appropriate clothing (including shin pads covered by long socks) and wears football boots if the ground is soft  i.e. winter time, or trainers when the ground is hard in the summer time. Please make sure you supply them with a soft drink (not fizzy!) as we dont want them to dehydrate!

If you feel that this is what you would like from a football club for your child then, Please...

Get in touch or come along on the relevant training nights or come and watch us play!
