Under 10's Juniors 2007 ~2008

Announcement

We would like to say a huge Thank you to Paul Kinsey who has been excellent as the manager of the Juniors for the last 2 years. Unfortunatly Paul has now reluctantly had to step down due to work commitments. Paul will greatly missed as the manager but will remain an integral part of this team and for this club for the foreseeable future. The role of manager will be once again undertaken by Ian Fletcher who started this team and managed them as Under 8's.

To the Under 10's Juniors on being runners up in the League Cup Finals 2007~2008

We are Very Proud to announce that the Under 10's Juniors now have the benefit of having 5 Qualified F.A. Level 1 Coaches to assist with their development.

All of our Coaches are Qualified with The F.A. and have completed C.R.B. checks,child protection and Emergency First Aid Workshops.

Training Sessions

Training Sessions

We hold weekly training sessions on a Tuesday evening at our home ground on the Kenilworth Road in Leamington Spa.

Training starts at 6pm and finishes at 7.30pm.

Our 5 FA qualified coaches for this age group cover all aspects from the basic skills through to the laws of the game and fitness. Training is FREE OF CHARGE!

And To The Future...

We are proud to announce that due to popular demand, we have needed to add another team to this age group for the 07~08 season!

There have been so many boys coming to the training sessions and wishing to play for us as of late, the only way to get them all playing in matches was to create the 'Colts'.

It was great for the club to be praised last season for having mixed race teams. Long may this continue!

We do ask that anyone wishing to join in with the training sessions is wearing appropriate clothing for the weather!!

About The Staff...

The U10's Juniors squad is managed by Ian Fletcher. Who is a Qualified F.A. Level 1 Coach.

The Under 10's train on a Tuesday evening at 6pm til 7.30pm at our floodlit home ground on the Kenilworth Road

The Under 10's are trained by Ian Fletcher who is a Qualified F.A. Coach. Ian is assisted by Paul Kinsey, Andrew Salisbury, Stuart Rooker, James Clarkson and Ben Burrows.

Stuart Rooker is a qualified F.A. Level 1 Coach

James is studying sports science at 6th Form Colledge and is also a Qualified F.A. Level 1 Coach.

Ben is also a Qualified F.A. Level 1 coach who is sudying sport at Leeds University and comes back to assist us at every opportunity!

Both Ben and James have been active members of St Peters Celtic for many years, playing in a number of our teams. James's Father, Paul Clarkson is the Manager of St Peters Celtic FC's Under 15's Colts.
